ARI Technologies, Inc. Dedicates New Facility

May 22, 2001 - Kent, WA —

Another significant milestone has been reached by ARI Technologies, Inc., of Kent, WA, a leader in contaminated waste treatment and recycling technology. ARI is pleased to announce the opening of its new facility in Tacoma, Washington. A dedication ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2001 to showcase the completion of its second-generation modular ThermoChemical Conversion System. Parties wishing to attend the ceremony and facility tour can fax or email their request to include name, phone number and email address on company letterhead to the event coordinator at 425-961-0632 (fax). Details on the event and a map to the facility will be issued to confirmed attendees. If a private showing or another date is desired, please state so in your request.

Under contract with the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Port Hueneme, CA, ARI successfully developed its patented thermochemical conversion technology (TCCT) to destroy asbestos waste contaminated with poly-chlorinated biphenyls (PCB), a problematic waste generated by the Government's submarine dismantling program. ARI received its TSCA Mobile Operating Permit for the destruction of PCBs in November 2000. ARI's patented TCCT is a proven and EPA-approved alternative to landfill disposal of asbestos containing materials. The TCCT process turns these hazardous wastes into harmless byproducts that can be recycled.
